1.  *     Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah,- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.     ALL THAT IS in the heavens and all that is on earth extols the limitless glory of God, the Sovereign Supreme, the Holy, the Almighty, the Wise!     What (is) in the skies/space and what (is) in the earth/Planet Earth praise/glorify to God, the king/owner/possessor, the Holy/Sanctimonious/Glorified, the glorious/mighty, the wise/judicious.     swr+ aljm`+  bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? ysbH llh mafy alsmawat wmafy alarD almlk alqdws al`zyz alHkym
 
2.  *     It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered an apostle from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;-     He it is who has sent unto the unlettered people an apostle from among themselves, [1]1 to convey unto them His messages, and to cause them to grow in purity, and to impart unto them the divine writ as well as wisdom - whereas before that they were indeed, most obviously, lost in error - ;     He is who sent in the illiterates/belongers to a nation a messenger from them, he reads/recites on them His verses/evidences, and he purifies them, and he teaches/instructs them The Book, and the wisdom, and (even) if, they were from before in (E) clear/evident, misguidance.     hw alXy b`x fy alamyyn rswla mnhm ytlw `lyhm ayath wyzkyhm wy`lmhm alktab walHkm+ wan kanwa mn qbl lfy Dlal mbyn
 
3.  *     As well as (to confer all these benefits upon) others of them, who have not already joined them: And He is exalted in Might, Wise.     and [to cause this message to spread] from them unto other people as soon as they come into contact with them: [2]2 for He alone is almighty, truly wise!     And others from them did not (E) catch up/join (E) with them, and He is the glorious/mighty, the wise/judicious.     waKryn mnhm lma ylHqwa bhm whw al`zyz alHkym
 
4.  *     Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty.     Such is God's bounty: He grants it to anyone who is willing [to receive it]: [3]3 for God is limitless in His great bounty.     That (is) God's grace/favour/blessing, He gives/brings it (to) whom He wills/intends, and God (is) (owner) of the grace/favour/blessing, the great.     Xlk fDl allh yWtyh mn y$a' wallh Xw alfDl al`Zym
 
5.  *     The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah. and Allah guides not people who do wrong.     THE PARABLE of those who were graced with the burden of the Torah, and thereafter failed to bear this burden, [4]4 is that of an ass that carries a load of books [but cannot benefit from them]. Calamitous is the parable of people who are bent on giving the lie to God's messages - for God does not bestow His guidance upon such evildoing folk!     (The) example/proverb (of) those who were made to carry/endure the Torah then they did not carry/endue it (are) as/like (the) example/proverb (of) the donkey, (it) carries/endures portions of the Torah, how bad (is the) example/proverb (of) the nation those who denied/falsified with God's verses/evidences? 6.  *     Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!"     Say: "O you who follow the Jewish faith! [5]5 If you claim that you [alone] are close to God, to the exclusion of all other people, then you should be longing for death - if what you say is true!" [6]6     Say: "You, you those who repented/guided/Jews, if you claimed/purorted that you are followers/ supporters/allies to God from other than the people, so wish/desire the death/ lifelessness if you were truthful."     ql yaayha alXyn hadwa an z`mtm ankm awlya' llh mn dwn alnas ftmnwa almwt an kntm Sadqyn
 
7.  *     But never will they express their desire (for Death), because of the (deeds) their hands have sent on before them! and Allah knows well those that do wrong!     But never will they long for it, because [they are aware] of what their hands have wrought in this world; [7]7 and God has full knowledge of evildoers.     And they do not wish/desire it ever (E) because (of) what their hands advanced/presented, and God (is) knowledgeable with the unjust/oppressors.     wlaytmnwnh abda bma qdmt aydyhm wallh `lym balZalmyn
 
8.  *     Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!"     Say: "Behold, the death from which you are fIeeing [8]8 is bound to overtake you - and then you will be brought back unto Him who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind, [9]9 whereupon He will make you truly understand all that you were doing [in life].     Say: "That truly the death/lifelessness which you run away/flee from it, so that it truly is meeting/finding you, then you be returned to knower (of) the unseen/hidden/super natural and the testimony/presence, so He informs you with what you were making/doing."     ql an almwt alXy tfrwn mnh fanh mlaqykm xm trdwn ali `alm alGyb wal$had+ fynbYkm bma kntm t`mlwn
 
9.  *     O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew!     O YOU who have attained to faith! When the call to prayer is sounded on the day of congregation, [10]10 hasten to the remembrance of God, and leave all worldly commerce: this is for your own good, if you but knew it.     You, you those who believed, if (it) was called to the prayers from the Friday's/gathering's day/time, so hasten/move quickly to God's reminder/mention, and leave the selling/trading, that (is) best for you, if you were knowing.     yaayha alXyn amnwa aXa nwdy llSla+ mn ywm aljm`+ fas`wa ali Xkr allh wXrwa alby` Xlkm Kyr lkm an kntm t`lmwn
 
10.  *     And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah. and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper.     And when the prayer is ended, disperse freely on earth [11]11 and seek to obtain [something] of God's bounty; but remember God often, so that you might attain to a happy state!     So if the prayers were accomplished/ended, so spread/spread out in the Earth/land, and ask/wish/desire from God's grace/favour/blessing, and mention/remember/praise/ glorify God much, maybe/perhaps you succeed/win.     faXa qDyt alSla+ fant$rwa fy alarD wabtGwa mn fDl allh waXkrwa allh kxyra l`lkm tflHwn
 
11.  *     But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)."     Yet [it does happen that] when people^ [12]12 become aware of [an occasion for] worldly gain [13]13 or a passing delight, they rush headlong towards it, and leave thee standing [and preaching]. [14]14 Say: "That which is with God is far better than all passing delight and all gain! And God is the best of providers!"     And if they saw/understood commercial trade/buying and selling or play things/amusement, they scattered/separated to it, and they left you standing, say: "What (is) at God (is) better than the play things/amusement and from the commercial trade/buying and selling, and God (is) best (of) the providers."     waXa rawa tjar+ aw lhwa anfDwa alyha wtrkwk qaYma ql ma`nd allh Kyr mn allhw wmn altjar+ wallh Kyr alrazqyn
